We are seeking an experienced Lead Commodity Sourcing Management Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and optimize the procurement of key commodities. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and develop sourcing strategies that deliver value, mitigate risks, and ensure supply continuity.

Essentials Responsibilities
- Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability.
- Negotiate and establish contracts, framework agreements, and service-level agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers according to Corporate Sourcing Policy and in line with Product Line Strategy
- Monitor and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Report sourcing cost-out every month according to KPIs
- Organize and set up any tool or method to improve efficiency in the activity
- Procurement Operations
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Facilitate issue resolution related to delivery, pricing, invoicing, and supplier performance.
- Support actively the manufacturing activity for improving supplier efficiency (time to respond, leadtimes, …)
- Send RFQs and follow-up to suppliers to get quotes on time
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Tendering, engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to understand business needs.
- Support new product development and operational projects with sourcing expertise.
- Align sourcing activities with company’s sustainability, compliance, and risk management policies.
- Attend any cost-out workshop locally and at corporate level
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements and automation in sourcing and procurement activities.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and best practices in procurement.
- Propose Lean enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management experience, with a focus on commodities.
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in sourcing and procurement tools/software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Understanding of relevant industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement initiatives.
- Travel (up to 30%)
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% variable incentive bonus annually. This posting is expected to close on 10/13/25.
