Your Role
As an Auto Body Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing damaged vehicles back to life. Your expertise will help ensure our customers' cars look and perform as if they just rolled off the showroom floor. You’ll work with state-of-the-art tools and technologies, collaborate with a skilled team, and contribute to maintaining our reputation as Toronto’s go-to auto body shop.

As an Auto Body Technician, you will perform vehicle body, frame and component repairs and replacements, all while being part of a team of knowledge & experience technicians. You’ll ensure all work is completed correctly, aligning with our standard of excellence and embodying a “fix it right the first time” attitude. You’ll join a strong tightly-knit team where you’ll have the opportunity to receive and provide mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Damage: Perform detailed inspections to determine the extent of structural and cosmetic damage.
- Repair & Restore: Straighten bent frames, replace or repair damaged panels, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Precision Work: Use welding, grinding, and sanding tools to repair or replace parts and ensure a flawless finish.
- Painting & Finishing: Prepare surfaces and apply paint with precision to match the vehicle’s original color and finish.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough post-repair inspections to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with estimators, mechanics, and team members to complete repairs efficiently.
- Customer Focus: Communicate repair progress and timelines to management and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in auto body repair (apprentices with relevant skills are welcome to apply).
- Certifications: Auto Body Technician certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools and equipment for welding, painting, and panel replacement.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality workmanship.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot issues and offer creative solutions.
- High school diploma or GED
- Understand the importance of providing an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers
- You can manage your time well, prioritizing responsibilities while paying strong attention to detail
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points.
