Specialist, Human Resources
About the role
The Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive support to the Human Resources team in executing key HR processes and initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. Acting as a central point of coordination, the HR Specialist contributes to the efficient delivery of HR services including onboarding, employee data management, benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and compliance.
This role ensures accurate and timely execution of HR activities while supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR-related inquiries, contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience.
More specifically, the Specialist, Human Resources must
- :Support HR Business Partners in the day-to-day implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures
- .Generate HR reports and metrics as required for monitoring and decision-making
- .Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leaves, and other general matters
- .Support HRBPs in the administration of employee relations activities, including documentation and tracking of disciplinary or performance-related processes
- .Assist with the coordination of employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and HR communications
- .Support the management of disability leaves and health and safety cases, ensuring documentation and follow-up with relevant stakeholders
- .Coordinate with payroll and external vendors to ensure data consistency and timely processing
- .Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and applicable labor legislation
- .Support audits and reporting related to HR data and compliance requirements
- .Participate in the continuous improvement of HR tools, systems, and processes
- .Support and oversee employment contract changes, transfers, relocations and re-organizations within departments and ensure appropriate action is taken in respect of staff change
- sAdminister and provide consultation for staff inquiries regarding HR questions, issues, may complete the entire recruitment cycle
