Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking to join a patient-focused independent community pharmacy where they can make a meaningful impact every day.
Working alongside an experienced pharmacy team, you will provide exceptional patient care, deliver a wide range of clinical services, and build strong relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals. This role offers the opportunity to practice to your full scope in a supportive environment that values collaboration, autonomy, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional patient care through medication management, counselling, and clinical services. Conduct medication reviews, chronic disease management, prescribing, vaccinations, and other expanded scope pharmacy services. Build strong relationships with patients and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Work collaboratively with pharmacy assistants and technicians to provide efficient workflow and service. Support pharmacy operations while contributing to a positive and team-oriented work environment. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Saskatchewan pharmacy regulations and professional standards. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist in Saskatchewan or eligible for licensure. Previous community pharmacy experience preferred. Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for community pharmacy and building long-term patient relationships. Commitment to continuous learning and practicing to full scope.
