Position Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of transactions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Code and post vendor, supplier, and manufacturer invoices accurately and efficiently
- Obtain management approvals for invoices as required
- Reconcile vendor accounts and statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Process regular cheque runs and handle rush or on-demand payment requests
- Monitor and manage office and stationery supplies, including printer toners
- Maintain organized filing systems for invoices and related documentation
- Support general office administration tasks and assist management as needed.

Skills & Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of invoices and related documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Experience with large ERP systems preferred
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Logistical Requirements
This is a full-time position at Dueck Auto Group with the head office located at 400 SE Marine Drive. The position may require working extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business. Professional attire is required (business casual dress code).
