About the role
We are looking for a creative, skilled UI developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI developer will work with back-end developers and web developers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented in an attractive way.
About the Role
To be successful as a UI developer you should have excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to this, you must work well in a team as there are several individuals involved in the development process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with UI designer in developing a seamless user interface
- Conducts research on consumer behavior and program use
- Designs interface structure
- Identifies areas for improvement in existing interface structures
- Consults with developers to implement improvements in user-based systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
Required Skills
- Strong technical, critical, and analytical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Working knowledge of human behavior
- Proficient in computer programming software such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in UI development
- Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI development projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
