Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator, HIS will provide hands-on coordination and administrative support to ensure successful execution of readiness and training activities for Project Harmony. Reporting to the Change Manager, the role will support planning, execution, and coordination across multiple workstreams, including training delivery, readiness events, and go-live support.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment and available for onsite, evening, and weekend support as required during peak project periods.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Report directly to the Change Manager and support change and readiness initiatives
- Provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support across Project Harmony workstreams
- Support training plan implementation, including scheduling, coordination, tracking, and reporting
- Support execution of the organizational readiness plan , including readiness assessments, communications, and readiness activities (virtual and onsite)
- Coordinate and support readiness events , simulations, and workflow validation activities
- Support onboarding and coordination of the At-the-Elbow (ATE) Support Group between September and December 2026
- Track action items, risks, issues, and deliverables related to readiness and training
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentation materials
- Liaise with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to support readiness and training activities
- Be willing and able to work onsite as required
- Closer to training and go-live, be available for increased onsite presence, including evening, night, and weekend support shifts , consistent with the rest of the project team
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Health Studies , or a related discipline
- Consideration may be given to candidates with equivalent training and relevant experience
- Minimum 2years of project coordination or project administration experience, preferably within IT and/or healthcare environments
- Solid understanding of the full project life cycle and core project management concepts
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems (HIS) and healthcare terminology
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-changing environment
- Demonstrated openness to change and adaptability during large-scale transformation initiatives
- Ability to generate practical, innovative solutions to operational and project challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a larger project team.
Working Conditions:
- Short-term contract role (anticipated May–December 2026)
- Hybrid environment with onsite presence required, increasing closer to training and go-live- Evening, night, and weekend availability required during peak readiness, training, and go-live periods
