The purpose of this position is to assist with the following research tasks focusing on sustainable water and wastewater treatment and reuse as well as value-added products from waste streams, such as:

  • Perform research literature review on one or more of the above topics.
  • Assist the PI and graduate students with related field and laboratory tasks.
  • Help process, analyze, visualize, and interpret research data.
  • Prepare/Edit/Format technical reports and manuscripts.

Position Requirements

Applications should have a strong engineering background (or biology/chemistry/geology) with a preference for water science and engineering knowledge, and have:

  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficient technical writing skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • GPA no less than 75%, preferably with ENEV 334 (or equivalent) grade no less than 80% and ENEV 322 (or equivalent) no less than 80%.

Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

Up to 10 hours per week. The student will need to record and report actual time commitment in every pay period. Paid bi-weekly.
