About the role
A career as an Agricultural Financing Solutions Manager within the Business and Private Wealth 1859 team means working closely with Business Account Managers and several other internal and external partners as a credit expert. This role allows you to make a positive impact on both your colleagues and clients through your knowledge of commercial financing.
Your role:
· Conduct quality credit analyses according to the standards established by the Credit Center and make recommendations.
· Structure credit requests by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios that meet the needs of agricultural clients while aligning with the Bank’s risk criteria.
· Participate in identifying the financing needs of agricultural clients in collaboration with the Business Account Manager.
· Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Center when needed, and confirm the availability of financing to the Business Account Manager.
· Work on the preparation of documents and updating of client files in collaboration with Account Officers and the Credit Center.
· Act as a credit resource person within the team and, when needed, support the development of team members’ skills.
· Identify risks inherent to the sector’s activities.
· Identify and develop business opportunities in your market and grow the agricultural client base.
· Maintain contact with clients by providing tailored advice that meets their evolving needs.
· Build trust-based relationships with colleagues and collaborate as a team to meet both the business and personal needs of entrepreneurs.
· Negotiate agreement terms with clients while maximizing profitability objectives.
· Maintain the quality of the loan and deposit portfolio.
Your team:
Within the Business & Private Wealth 1859 sector, you’ll be part of a team of professionals supporting the agricultural industry. You’ll also have access to a full ecosystem of experts to help you offer the best possible solutions to clients.
Reporting to the Team Director , the selected candidate will be based in Québec.

Prerequisites:
· Bachelor’s degree related to the field and six years of relevant experience.
· Master’s degree related to the field and four years of relevant experience.
· University certificate and eight years of relevant experience.
· Relevant experience in the agricultural sector.
· Experience in negotiation.
· Experience in credit and the banking sector.
· Experience analyzing financial statements.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and make sound recommendations.
· Membership in the Ordre des agronomes du Québec — an asset.
· Bilingualism — an asset.
