Your role: This is a full-time permanent position where you will be responsible for providing entry-level accounting and tax services to firm clients. As an Accountant, you will join a general practice team and will participate in all aspects of client service, including:
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of entry to intermediate-level compilation, review and audit engagements including preparation of financial statements and applicable tax filings such as T2, T4, T5, T5013, T5018, GST & WCB returns
- Preparation of entry to intermediate-level personal income tax returns and related schedules
- Responding to inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally, while adhering to firm policies and procedures
- Participation in ongoing training and development opportunities to continuously improve technical skills
- Supporting various projects and administrative tasks as required
- Engaging in collaborative efforts with other team members with the goal of maintaining or improving efficient internal processes

Required Skills and Qualifications :
- University degree in business, commerce, accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax fundamentals
- Previous experience in public accounting an asset

Your schedule: Monday to Friday
Working Conditions: You will be expected to work in an office environment. During peak periods, there might be a requirement to work overtime to meet project deadlines and support team needs.
