Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist Our client, a well-established leader in the automotive distribution industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Identity & Access Management Specialist to join their Information Services team. In this role, you will take ownership of enterprise identity platforms supporting workforce, dealer, and customer access. You will play a key part in enabling secure, seamless digital experiences across the organization, bridging technology and business by working closely with internal teams and external partners.

🎯 Main Responsibilities Identity Platform Management & Governance Act as the subject matter expert for enterprise identity platforms, ensuring secure integration of workforce/customer identities and seamless synchronization across core systems. Configure, maintain, and optimize IAM solutions supporting authentication, authorization, and access lifecycle management. Support and enhance Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations. Partner with compliance, audit, and security teams on controls, access certification campaigns, and governance initiatives. Process Automation & Operations Develop automation scripts and workflows (e.g., Okta Workflows, Terraform) to enhance provisioning, deprovisioning, monitoring, and audit readiness. Document and implement repeatable, scalable IAM processes to balance security with business productivity. Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for IAM-related incidents and investigate identity-related threats (e.g., MFA fatigue, account compromise). Vendor & Ecosystem Integration Serve as the primary technical liaison with managed service providers and vendors supporting the IAM platforms. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate IAM solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

📋 Must Haves Education: University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IAM-focused roles supporting enterprise identity platforms (specifically Okta or Auth0). Certifications: At least one IAM certification (e.g., Okta Certified Professional/Admin, Auth0 Implementer, CIAM, MS SC-300) AND at least one security certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CCSK). Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with user lifecycle management, RBAC, and application integrations using identity standards (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, Zero Trust). Environment: Proven experience integrating IAM solutions in cloud and hybrid environments, alongside familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, PIPEDA). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills to explain complex identity concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. ✨ Nice to Haves Hands-on experience building automated lifecycle infrastructure using Terraform or Okta Workflows. Prior experience within the automotive logistics or distribution sector.

💼 Position Details & Benefits Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000 base (depending on experience) + competitive bonus structure. Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) in Scarborough, ON.
