Here, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference—for our clients, our communities, and one another.

Your role

If you love building processes as much as running them, this role is for you. We are looking for someone who can think strategically and execute day-to-day HR operations, while supporting business needs. You will partner with business leaders to implement People & Culture strategies that drive Human Resources management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement. The HRBP acts as a trusted and confidential advisor, embedding HR strategy into daily operations, and ensuring all HR practices are compliant and align with organizational goals and culture.

People Strategy & HR Programs

  • Translate strategy into action by implementing HR programs that support talent acquisition, development, performance management, engagement, and compensation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance that reflects business priorities and company culture.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement workforce planning, retention strategies, and succession planning.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, collaborating with part-time HR Coordinator to create job descriptions, interview guides, and selection processes tailored to business needs.
  • Develop a robust talent pipeline, strategically sourcing candidates to meet current and future organizational requirements.
  • Create onboarding programs that enhance engagement, retention, and long-term success.

Performance, Development & Engagement

  • Support managers through performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching plans.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives, career pathing, and high-potential talent development programs.
  • Design and manage training and development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Lead engagement surveys, analyze results, and facilitate action plans to improve employee experience and retention.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Stay current on employment law and HR best practices across Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Manage Baker Tilly’s HR Information System (Bamboo HR), optimizing system functionality, ensuring data integrity, and generating reporting insights.
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, accommodation requests, return-to-work programs, and offboarding processes to minimize disruption and maintain compliance.

Culture & Workplace Experience

  • Create and improve policies, processes and programs that support business growth, consistency, and alignment with best practices.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative environment through visible leadership and open communication.
  • Promote transparency, trust, innovation, and continuous improvement across all teams.

What you bring to the table

  • Experience: 5+years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines (recruitment, employee relations, compensation, policy development, talent management, etc.).
  • Education: Completed (or in progress) bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or CPHR designation would be strongly preferred.
  • Compliance: Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Prior HR experience within a financial firm would be a significant asset, as would Bamboo HR HRIS experience.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence stakeholders, build relationships, and act as a strategic business partner.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, problem-solving and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Additional Key Skills: Manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, work independently, and deliver high-quality results with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

What’s in it for you?

  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health care, life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, and a health and wellness fund.
  • Flexibility & Balance: Build your own schedule with adjustable core hours, no mandatory overtime, and hybrid work options – all within a positive, collaborative, and informal team environment.
  • Career Development: We’re committed to your growth, offering extensive support for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), specialty designations, in-house training and informal learning.
  • Lifestyle Perks: Combine a fulfilling career with benefits of living in a world-class mountain destination in the heart of the Bow Valley.
