About the role
Pay Range: CAD 50-55/hr Validate RESTful and event driven APIs to ensure functional accuracy| performance| and reliability Design and execute API test cases covering positive| negative| and edge scenarios Perform automated API testing using tools and frameworks (e.g.| Postman| Karate| REST Assured)Validate API security| authentication| and authorization (OAuth2| JWT)Collaborate with API developers| Solution Architects| and DevOps teams across delivery pods Support CICD integrated testing| defect triage| and release signoff Ensure compliance with enterprise quality| security| and regulatory standards
Essential Skills: 4 to 7 years of experience in API or integration testing within BFSI or regulated environments Strong understanding of REST APIs| JSON| HTTP protocols| and integration patterns Experience with API test automation and defect management tools Exposure to cloud platforms (AzureAWS) and CICD pipelines Strong analytical| troubleshooting| and collaboration skills
