About the Role

As a Psychotherapist at HealthOne, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the emotional and mental well-being of patients across our diverse community. Drawing on your clinical expertise and deep empathy, you will provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapeutic care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

You’ll conduct professional, compassionate assessments and deliver individual counseling sessions that foster trust, resilience, and long-term personal growth. With a strong focus on collaboration, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive holistic, integrated care.

Responsibilities

• Bring your compassion, professionalism, and clinical insight to every patient interaction, creating a safe and supportive environment for healing.
• Provide one-on-one counseling services to patients presenting with a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, generate informed clinical recommendations, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Build and nurture strong therapeutic relationships that support long-term patient success and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team and actively participate in cross-referrals to optimize holistic patient outcomes.
• Engage with internal marketing efforts and contribute to promoting mental health therapy within the community.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s-level education in a related field required.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
• Previous experience in a private practice or clinical counseling setting, with strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Motivated to build and maintain a stable patient caseload.
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Comfortable commuting to the clinic and providing in-person sessions regularly.
• Nice to Have: Ability to provide counseling services in multiple languages such as Cantonese and Mandarin.
