Qualifications:
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with a varied clientele at the reception

The candidate will be required to communicate daily in French

Ability to meet deadlines, particularly during peak periods

Must be able to effectively communicate updates and information to other staff members

Available to work through summer and March break

Knowledge of JADE is an asset
Nature of the work:
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in performing a variety of administrative duties according to established instructions, methods or procedures and requiring routine decisions relevant to administrative tasks as determined by the administration.
Daily Tasks/Dossiers:
- Perform all duties related to reception
- Support program application and registration (walk-ins)
- Must have the ability and disposition to deal with all students
- Must work with JADE/Tosca to maintain files
- Manage the maintenance of student files and update necessary documentation
- The employee may be required to enter scanned documents into a computer
- The employee may be required to collect pending fee payments, provide receipt and ensure the delivery and compilation of those payments
- The employee fills out forms, form letters, notices or any other simple document of the same nature and forwards them, as required
- The employee may be required to receive, stamp, sort and file documents
- The employee uses a computer and the necessary software to perform his or her duties related to word processing, database entry, spreadsheets and in-house programs; he or she uses e-mail
- Prepare requested documents for students
- Perform any other related duties
