This is a 6-month contract position for a Senior Lease Management Specialist in Toronto, Ontario About this role We are seeking a Senior Lease Management Specialist to join our team in downtown Toronto. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of commercial leases using Yardi and other systems. The position involves lease data entry, interpretation, and reconciliation, with a strong focus on compliance, precision, and delivering meaningful insights. Abstract and interpret commercial lease documents to maintain the integrity of the lease administration module. Set up all aspects of executed lease documents in Yardi and ensure billings align with the legal agreements. Process client rent rolls and revise billings as required. Conduct lease audits to confirm compliance with executed documents. Manage and maintain the security deposit ledger. Collaborate with the Property Management team to resolve rent and landlord/tenant matters. Track and monitor critical dates. Support the team with special projects as assigned. What you’ll bring Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Real Estate is preferred. 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate lease administration. Strong ability to read and interpret commercial leases, particularly regarding tenant recoveries. Experience with Yardi or similar lease management systems. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites. Strong analytical skills and comfort with databases and technology. Exceptional time management, organization, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive.
