You madeor are making an investment in a visually pleasing website for all your customer prospects to learn about you – but how will they be able to learn about your company & buy the products/services you provide if they can't find you? If they don't know you even exist?
You website may have the answer for that they seek, but unless they can easily find you in their search, they will never know that you had the answer to their problem.
So, the answer to "Is SEO really needed?" - Our answer is a ABSOLUTLY!
If you can get your website in front of the very prospects you are targeting, then you can let your website inform them of the of the solution they seek vs. the answer coming from your competitor's website.
The "What is the Value Question?" is easy. Just ask yourself: How confident are you that if you can get people to your website that your website can close the deal?
How much is that deal worth to you? (Consider not only the 1st transaction, but the lifetime value of a new customer relationship.) How much will it cost you if no one comes to your website?
Put the two together and the value of SEO is quite clear. By making strategic decisions to hone-in on your target market – understand the string of words used by people to search for you – then tweaking your website pages to trigger the search engines to present your website above your competition... your chances to present your best case to prospective customers increases exponentially.
