What You’ll Be Contributing:

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

  • Be the lead resource on the Finance Process and Improvement committee;
  • Benchmark processes against industry best practices and proactively identify automation opportunities;
  • Support the in-progress end-to-end review of key Finance workflows (AP, AR, payroll, month-end close, consolidation, intercompany, FX, financial reporting) driving the project to final implementation;
  • Identify process gaps and design, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies across divisions;
  • Create and maintain finance role-and-responsibility maps and cross-functional workflow documentation.

Technology & Systems Enablement

  • Lead financial systems improvement projects and partner with IT to optimize system configuration, integration, and data governance;
  • Research, evaluate and deploy AI, automation, and data visualization tools to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting cycles, and transactional processing;
  • Manage and maintain governance of finance data and documentation, including shared drives, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and version control;
  • Serve as Finance lead for the ERP evaluation, design, and implementation, including business requirements, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and rollout.

Cross-Functional Projects & Support

  • Create and manage a Finance Transformation Roadmap and project tracker with clear milestones, ownership, timelines, and expected ROI;
  • Develop training materials and deliver workshops to support system and process adoption.
  • Lead cross-functional finance transformation projects from design to adoption.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field;
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional designation is considered a strong asset;
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience in finance systems and/or transformation, process improvement roles;
  • Proven project management capabilities;
  • Hands-on experience with finance process transformation, including process mapping, automation, optimization, and change management;
  • Ability to build or redesign policies, workflows, SOPs, and internal controls.;
  • Experience in AI automation is considered an asset.
  • Strong IT, ERP and data structure skillset, including technical proficiency in:
  • SQL for querying financial data;
  • Python for data modeling and automation;
  • Power BI for dashboards and analytics;
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Exposure to automation, RPA, AI-driven tools, or low-code platforms considered an asset;
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
  • Excellent communication (English and French), facilitation, and training skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language;
  • Strong collaboration skills across Finance, IT, and operational teams.
