The Opportunity We're looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our growing Professional Services team in Toronto, who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and collaborating directly with clients. You will work alongside experienced consultants to help design and implement planning, reporting, and analytics solutions for organizations across a variety of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to consulting, software implementation, FP&A, analytics, and modern data technologies while building a strong foundation in client-facing solution delivery.
What You'll Do Participate in client discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops Assist in the design and implementation of planning, reporting, and analytics solutions Configure software applications and support solution deployments Build reports, dashboards, models, and business applications Analyze client requirements and help translate them into practical solutions Support user testing, training, and solution adoption activities Prepare project documentation and implementation materials Collaborate with consultants, technical specialists, and client stakeholders Support solution demonstrations, proposals, and other pre-sales activities as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and internal best practices
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in consulting, technology, data, and business processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn new technologies and business concepts quickly Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with Excel and data analysis tools Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications Internship, co-op, or project experience related to consulting, business analysis, finance, analytics, or software implementation Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or FP&A processes Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or other analytics tools Experience using Prophix, Vena, or similar platforms through work, internships, coursework, or personal projects Experience presenting findings or recommendations to stakeholders Participation in case competitions, consulting clubs, finance clubs, or related extracurricular activities
