Salary:
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your responsibilities:
- Organize individual product containers for final shipping - this includes maintaining inventory rotation
- Generate via SAP appropriate shipping documentation, including accurate recording of product batch numbers and quantities
- Monitor customer’s bulk storage tank levels, request keep fills and coordinate trucks accordingly
- Complete proper shipping transactions within SAP recording shipping PRO numbers, freight charges, carrier information, etc.
- Communicate and schedule via email, fax, and/or telephone with 3rd party carriers pick up/delivery times in a cost effective, timely manner
- Secure and load box trailers, ensuring product will arrive at final destination intact
- Communicate appropriate scheduling and delivery requirements via email or telephone
- Coordinate all shipments and act as back up to bulk and export shippers.
- Complete cycle count during inventory
- Responsible for receiving all raw materials and generate appropriated SAP receiving documentation.
- Maintain and receive bin master log of containers returned from customers.
- Other shipping, receiving and filling duties as required
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in shipping and receiving.
- Good communication skills (oral and written), customer service, and teamwork.
- Experienced operating sit-down forklifts required. Experience with reach forklifts preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 kgs.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word a plus.
