Job Description Summary
STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a Sales Operations Demand Planner to join our team!
As the Sales Operations Demand Planner, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing demand forecasts to support business planning and decision-making. In this role, you will leverage historical data, market insights, and cross-functional inputs to build accurate demand projections, accounting for product lifecycle events such as launches and planned obsolescence. You will collaborate closely with key business partners internally and externally to enhance forecast accuracy and ensure alignment with current business conditions. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen forecasting processes and support organizational growth.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an unbiased 18-24 month rolling demand forecasts by integrating internal domain knowledge (Sales, Marketing) and external inputs (Customer Forecasts, Customer Inventories, POS Data)
- Enhance predictive forecast accuracy by incorporating domain and business knowledge into baselines forecasts (market trends, product lifecycle events)
- Manage the customer forecast integration process, including establishing and maintaining guidelines (time fences, data standards, etc.), and ensuring effective integration of internal inputs
- Liaise across departments to improve customer forecasts and identify upcoming events that may impact demand projections
- Lead Demand Review meetings and contribute to sales and operations planning, including forecast alignment, target setting, and ongoing demand review discussions
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of experience in demand planning, sales operations, or a related field
- Strong understanding of forecast methodologies, market trends, and demand planning principles
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using statistical and forecasting tools
- Experience working cross-functionally to translate business insights into accurate demand plans

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
$81,700.00 - $122,500.00
STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
