About the Role
As an HR Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of the HR team, supporting day‑to‑day HR coordination while gaining exposure to recruitment, HR systems, data analytics, compliance, and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who enjoys data accuracy, process improvement, and cross‑functional coordination — and who wants to grow into broader HR responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
HR Coordination & Administration
- Provide administrative and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle (hire to retire)
- Prepare employment letters and HR documentation with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain organized, compliant employee records, e‑files, and document repositories
- Triage and respond to queries/ tickets on HR Helpdesk and ensure closure.
Talent Acquisition Support
- Coordinate recruitment activities including posting roles, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and reference/background checks
- Support onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth candidate‑to‑employee experience
Benefits Enrollment & Administration
- Support employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in accordance with eligibility rules and timelines
- Coordinate benefits documentation with employees, payroll, HRIS, and benefits providers
- Respond to routine employee inquiries related to benefits enrollment, coverage, and required forms, escalating complex issues as needed
- Maintain accurate benefits records and support periodic audits and reconciliation activities
HR Data, Systems & Analytics
- Maintain and update HR trackers, reports, and dashboards (primarily Excel‑based)
- Support HRIS and automation initiatives, including data clean‑up, process mapping, and system improvements
- Assist with basic HR data analysis to support reporting, audits, and decision‑making
Cross‑Team Collaboration

Act as a key point of coordination between HR team members, managers, and internal stakeholders

Support employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and compliance activities

Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
- Up to 2 year of experience in HR, administration, or a related coordination role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- CHRP designation (or actively working toward it) is an asset
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Comfort working with HR processes, HR systems, and data‑driven workflows
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and prioritization skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn across multiple HR disciplines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel within Ontario, as required
