The Faculty of Graduate Studies directs the administration of more than 140 graduate programs across all three campuses and eight faculties. Our office supports the vision and leadership of the university through the Dean and Vice-Provost's role as well as through oversight and guidance of graduate admissions, adherence and equitable compliance to graduate policies, and administrative direction and training for procedures and systems. We also collaboratively facilitate support for graduate students, faculty members and graduate programs with individual and systemic issues and foster graduate student engagement and professional development activities.

About the Role

The position oversees admissions and records procedures related to designated programs. The Manager, Graduate Records manages the evaluation and processing of Business graduate admissions including the review, evaluation and assessment of international and domestic credentials and post-secondary institutions. The Manager acts as a resource for graduate program assistants and chairs who have questions on procedures, policies and records systems processes. The incumbent investigates and resolves discrepancies in tuition and fee assessments, oversight for all student records, enrollment and provide records-related system configuration and problem solving. The incumbent trains new graduate program staff in all academic units, on current graduate policies and processes as it relates to records and registration. The Manager oversees the Graduate Progress Report, and assists the Manager Curriculum on Academic Progress Reports. The incumbent oversees activities within graduate application systems as it relates to Beedie admissions and admission cycles.
