About Edmonton Humane Society
Founded in 1907, the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS) is one of the oldest and most reputable charities in both Alberta and the animal welfare sector. Each day, EHS strives to be a model of excellence in the advancement of animal welfare and to lead the movement in creating a more humane world.
Thousands of homeless, neglected and abandoned companion animals from Edmonton and surrounding communities are taken in by EHS every year.
