As the Recruiting Unit Coordinator, you will be the support behind the scenes of the Recruiting Unit and will be responsible for liaising with internal and external partners to increase engagement and strategic alignment of the Recruiting Unit strategies within the Calgary Police Service. Primary duties include:
- Liaise with internal and external partners to leverage, build, and maintain strategic relationships.
- Assists recruitment team members with testing facilitation and security checks.
- Assists with the planning, coordination, implementation, and communication of projects within the unit.
- Manage applicant tracking system, training, and implementation.
- Provide administrative support ensuring accurate documentation and records management for recruiting unit operations.
- Administrative functions with respect to key points of the applicant process.
**Working Conditions:**Office Environment
Qualifications
- A 1 year certificate in a related discipline with 5 years of relevant training or experience OR a 2 year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline with 3 years of relevant training or experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
- Previousexperience in budgeting, records and project management are assets.
- Proficiency with entity-based incident tracking using police databases such as content server, Sentry, IAPro will be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires emotional intelligence; creating and sustaining safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces; promoting supportive, balanced, and professional accountability; building and maintaining relationships; developing self and others; striving for results.
Pre-employment Requirements
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.

Compensation: Pay Grade 7 $35.45 - 47.43 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 4-day
compressed work week.
