Your Opportunity

We are seeking a mid-level contaminated sites Project Environmental Engineer /

Geologist / Scientist / Technologist to join our growing Saskatchewan Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of and lead the execution of SIR field projects across Saskatchewan and other Prairie provinces.

Under the leadership of outstanding project managers, this opportunity allows

you to be a part of a cohesive and highly skilled team of environmental professionals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong health and safety culture and actively participate in Stantec’s Health and Safety Program.
  • Create and lead a positive safety culture on all projects
  • Work with Project Managers to develop field instructions and coordinate field scopes of work with Stantec staff and subcontractors
  • Complete SIR field tasks including but not limited to, Phase I ESA site visits, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, soil vapour sampling, aquifer conductivity testing, and elevation surveying.
  • Confidently oversee SIR field activities, including but not limited to, drilling and monitoring well installation, remedial excavations, and other construction tasks.
  • Provide training and mentoring to more junior staff as field lead
  • Write technical reports including data analysis and interpretation with Saskatchewan Tier 1 and Tier 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are

provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20
