Your Opportunity
The Administrative Support II position is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative functions, while interacting with a diverse population of colleagues and the public at the Northern Addictions Centre.
Under the supervision of the NAC Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing information and resources to the public, clients, and employees of the Centre. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, strong MS Office computer skills, ability to work independently, be competent in the delivery of high-quality customer/client service and experience working with numeric file systems is preferred.
The incumbent will perform complex and diversified duties requiring independent judgment and confidentiality. Tasks must be completed with initiative, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential to success in this position.
Rotation
- 16 shifts over 4-week rotation
- Monday – Thursday (1530 – 2215) (9 shifts/6.25 hrs)
- Friday (1445 – 2215) (3 shift/7.0 hrs)
- Saturday & Sunday (1545 – 2015) (4 shifts/4.5 hrs)
Compensation
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
