The opportunity: The Associate Vice-President, Product, Investment Advisor Solutions helps shape and scale our product platform in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of investment strategy, client experience, technology, and is passionate about delivering differentiated solutions to advisors and investors.
Key responsibilities include: Product Strategy & Ownership
- Defining and evolving product strategy in alignment with firm goals and advisor/client needs.
- Maintaining and communicating a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on impact and feedback.
- Owning individual product profit and loss (P&L) and generate strategies to achieve associated KPIs.
Content Creation & Client Experience
- Creating and maintaining high-impact product content including strategy briefs, performance narratives, and advisor/client materials.
- Translating portfolio insights, performance drivers, and positioning into accessible, engaging content.
- Managing editorial planning, delivery schedules, and version control across product updates and campaigns.
- Monitoring engagement metrics to assess content effectiveness and usability.
Market & Competitor Research
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor positioning to maintain relevance and differentiation.
- Generating and collecting client feedback to inform product development and messaging.
- Analyzing usage data and feedback loops to refine product features and improve engagement.
AI Enablement
- Leading adoption of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline content creation and personalization.
- Collaborating with data and engineering teams to explore scalable AI-driven content solutions that enhance efficiency and relevance.
The Ideal candidate will possess:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, marketing or related fields is required.

5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within asset management, fintech, or financial services.

Strong understanding of investment products and advisor/client communication.

Experience with digital platforms, UX collaboration, and agile workflows.

Proven experience with digital product development and client experience design.
-
Strong understanding of fund operations, investment products, and advisor distribution channels.
-
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or working towards it is an asset.

Familiarity with AI tools and data-driven content workflows.

Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Knowledge of the financial services industry – products and regulatory bodies.

Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day-to-day work and long-term goals.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
