About the role
We are seeking a Transaction Processing Administrator to support the accurate and timely processing of financial and non-financial transactions within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mutual Funds and Segregated Funds administration, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Process financial and non-financial transactions, including: Account setup and maintenance, Purchases, redemptions, and switches ,Direct trade and wire order placement and settlement, Non-complex NIGO transactions Process complex transactions, including Locked-In Accounts and RESP accounts. Monitor and clear workflow queues within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Perform daily trade reconciliation and settlement activities. Process daily deposits and cheque transactions. Apply quality control procedures to ensure transaction accuracy. Review and audit transactions, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. Investigate and communicate unusual account activity. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues. Assist in maintaining and updating operating procedures and process documentation. Support additional operational tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications Experience within the financial services industry, specifically in Mutual Funds and/or Segregated Funds administration. Strong understanding of transaction processing, settlements, and reconciliations. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Completion of the IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course. Experience with Unitrax Recordkeeping System. Knowledge of FundSERV. Experience working with PEGA workflows.
