What you can expect:

As a key contributor to Amilia’s data-driven culture, the Data Analyst supports internal teams by transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights. This role focuses on creating, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards, performing exploratory and ad-hoc analysis, and supporting both internal and enterprise customer data needs.

You’ll also work with the BI Analyst and our Data Services Team to support custom reporting solutions for enterprise clients, using SQL and automation tools like PowerAutomate or other middleware. This is a great opportunity to deepen your BI skills while helping Amilia scale its data capabilities internally and externally.

You will be responsible for:

Dashboard Development & Data Support

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for internal teams
  • Update and enhance existing dashboards based on feedback and business needs
  • Support internal teams with ad-hoc reporting and data requests
  • Ensure data used in reports is accurate, timely, and relevant

Custom Reporting for Enterprise Clients

  • Collaborate with the BI Analyst on SQL-based custom reporting for clients (e.g. YMCAs)
  • Help develop and maintain automated reporting workflows using PowerAutomate or other middleware
  • Work with Data Services and Client Success to understand and address client data export needs

Business Intelligence Analysis

  • Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Translate data findings into clear business insights and visual storytelling
  • Assist in refining key metrics to track company and product performance

Data Governance & Learning

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on dashboards and metrics in Confluence
  • Help ensure adherence to data definitions and reporting standards
  • Stay current with BI and automation tools, share learnings, and suggest improvements

What we want from you:

  • 2 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, ideally within a SaaS environment, with a strong grasp of SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn, LTV, and CAC.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MSSQL)
  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Data Studio.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, and ETL tools, as well as exposure to product analytics platforms
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset.

What you will get from us:

  • A competitive and progressive salary;
  • A group RRSP employer contribution up to 5%;
  • A group insurance for you and your family as well as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and telemedicine;
  • A $750 wellness allowance per year;
  • The possibility of working in the office or at home, and up to 3 months abroad per year *conditions apply;
  • A strong work-life balance: flexible hours, 4 weeks' vacation and 8 sick days yearly, and year-round mini-Fridays;
  • Skill development opportunities through engaging workshops, communities of practice, trainings, access to Udemy and opportunities to attend conferences;
  • Companywide and team bonding activities to connect with your peers throughout the year and weekly social activities to connect with your peers;
  • Weekly Bootcamp and Pilates classes for Amilians;
  • 25% discount on annual membership for STM and EXO;
  • In-office snacks, including fresh fruit baskets, coffee, beverages, and free drinks.
