- Software Engineer 17: Salaries typically range from $84,698 to $112,931 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.

The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer was established in 2023 with the mission of empowering our customers and colleagues to take on the world, by seamlessly delivering secure and reliable digital experiences. Digital & Technology Solutions has set out to achieve the following objectives for EDC:
- Define, execute, and sustain the integrated technology target state, target data model and technology operations required to enable EDC’s 2030 business transformation.
- Establish and manage the rolling 3 Year Digital Roadmap that sequences the technology outcomes required to achieve the technology target state and facilitate its execution across all domains in the organization.

Within DTS, the Digital Platform Delivery & Architecture (DPDA) group plays a critical role by enabling the business through secure, scalable, and fit for purpose digital platforms.
To support EDC’s growing automation and workflow modernization agenda, the Digital Business Platforms group is seeking a skilled Platform Automation Developer and/or Senior Platform Automation Developer with strong experience across automation platforms, UiPath, ServiceNow CSM, workflow orchestration, and Azure based integrations.
This is a hands-on technical delivery role focused on designing, building, testing, and supporting automation and workflow solutions that operate across enterprise platforms such as UiPath, ServiceNow CSM & Automation Centre, Power Platform, and Azure.
You will work closely with Automation Technical Leads and Architects; Automation COE, Principals, and Citizen Developers; Process owners and SMEs; and Platform and integration teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-quality automation solutions end-to-end and wants exposure to enterprise scale platforms, governance, and financial services workflows.
As a Platform Automation Developer (Level 17), the role requires a atrong hands-on developer who delivers scoped work independently, contributes to design, and supports production operations with guidance.
As a Senior Platform Automation Developer (Level 18): the role requires a senior-level developer who leads complex technical delivery, drives patterns/reuse, mentors others, and raises overall engineering maturity (quality, automation, and platform governance).
What you will be doing:
Automation & Workflow Development:

Design, build, test, and maintain automation solutions using UiPath and ServiceNow CSM / Workflow Data Fabric.

Develop workflows and integrations leveraging ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Fabric.

Implement secure and scalable integrations using APIs, events, and Azure services.
-
Build automations that span multiple systems while adhering to enterprise architecture and security standards.

Integrate AI into digital platforms.

Additional responsibilities:
- Level 17: Delivers user stories and tasks end-to-end with solid engineering practices and peer review.
- Level 18: Leads solution decomposition for complex stories, proposes scalable designs, and drives reuse across initiatives.
Delivery & Quality:

Participate in solution design reviews and implement technical designs approved by the Tech Lead or Architect.

Follow coding, documentation, and testing standards to ensure production ready solutions.

Contribute to automated testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.

Support deployments through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git based version control.

Additional responsibilities:
- Level 17: Implements CI/CD steps and follows branching/PR patterns.
- Level 18: Improves pipelines/quality gates, strengthens release readiness, and standardizes testing patterns across the team.
Platform Operations & Support:
- Monitor automation execution, logs, and performance metrics.
- Maintain and evolve libraries and reusable components.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Support upgrades, patches, and platform changes with minimal business disruption.
- Maintain technical documentation and production support artifacts.
- Additional responsibilities:
- Level 17: Resolves standard incidents/defects using established patterns and escalation support.
- Level 18: Leads complex RCA, reduces recurring incidents through preventive engineering, and strengthens platform resiliency.
Collaboration & Enablement:
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions.
- Support and guide Citizen Developers, helping them follow platform standards and best practices in partnership with the business arm.
- Contribute to Communities of Practice and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during solution delivery and enhancements.
- Additional responsibilities:
- Level 17: Supports citizen developers and contributes to documentation and enablement artifacts.
- Level 18: Mentors developers/citizen developers, shapes reusable patterns, and raises engineering quality across the platform community.
What we are looking for:
- Post secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years (Level 17) or 7 years (Level 18) of experience in a technical delivery role focused on designing, building, testing, and supporting automation and workflow solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Strong hands on experience with UiPath and ServiceNow CSM.
- Experience designing workflows using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, or similar orchestration tools.
- Working knowledge of Azure services used for integration and automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git based source control.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work across complex systems.
- Experience working in regulated or large scale enterprise environments.
What will make you stand out:
- Experience with ServiceNow Automation Centre and Workflow Data Fabric.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, or insurance environments.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
