The Role
Under the supervision of a Manager, Senior Manager, or Partner, the Senior Accountant is responsible for completing both routine and complex tax engagements, as well as organizing and managing client assignments. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality client service.
What You’ll Do

Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns.

Research tax issues and communicate findings through tax planning memos or client correspondence.

Assist team members in all aspects of tax planning and compliance.

Identify and document tax filing positions. Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients.
What You Bring

Educational Background: Enrollment in or completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program is considered an asset.

Experience: Proven experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public practice environment.

Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (CaseWare/CaseView), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel, and TaxPrep.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality client service.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify solutions.
- Ability to work well under supervision and manage multiple priorities.
