Finning is looking for a Customer Support Centre Representative (CSCR) to be the first point of contact for internal and external customers. Reporting to the Team Lead, you’ll play a vital role in call direction, incident reporting, and emergency response coordination.

Job Description:

  • Answer incoming calls, assess caller needs, and accurately redirect using corporate tools and resources.
  • Monitor weather alerts and communicate updates to affected personnel.
  • Manage employee safety check-ins (SPOT), including scheduling, tracking, and escalation protocols.
  • Process service rework calls and generate reports for internal teams.
  • Retrieve and store service letters and magazines from SIS for internal access.
  • Fulfill literature requests after hours using the Midland ordering portal.
  • Update corporate directory entries in FINBRP to ensure accurate contact information.
  • Use internal systems (SalesLink, Salesforce, Aware360, Finning.com, Workday) to support customer inquiries.
  • Handle executive-level calls with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school diploma (Grade 12)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, 24/7 environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Finning’s policies, procedures, and operational systems
  • Comfortable navigating multiple platforms and managing sensitive information

Note:

  • This is a hybrid position based out of our Calgary location.
  • Temporary, full-time role for 12 months with possibility for extension.
  • Night/Overnight and Weekend shift.
