We’re looking for a Grocery Supervisor (NOC 62010) who can guide the team, keep operations running smoothly, and bring out the best in others. Responsibilities
Supervise the proper stocking of shelves with dry goods, dairy products, and selected cooler items to ensure accuracy. Implement and follow product rotation procedures to maintain freshness. Ensure the grocery department remains clean and organized by dusting, cleaning shelves, and managing spills. Assist with stocking freezer and dairy items as needed. Consistently follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with management to order required products and manage inventory levels effectively. Assist in creating end displays and arranging shelves for weekly sales promotions. Train new grocery clerks in their duties and departmental procedures. Communicate regularly with assistant grocery managers and grocery managers regarding staff needs, work progress, and any relevant issues. Participate in breaking down pallets of stock and organizing items for shelving. Complete training for forklift or power pallet jack operation, including online courses and hands-on instruction. Perform additional Grocery Clerk duties as required.
Qualifications And Skills
High school diploma preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or retail environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in retail is required. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Closing Date: July 24, 2026
Salary Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per/hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Transportation: Fresh Market Foods will cover a one-time round-trip travel cost for the successful candidate to our location and back to their permanent residence at the end of the work period. (This does not include the cost for a full trailer move (household goods, trailers, or large personal belongings etc.).
Housing: Below-market value employee housing may be available, subject to availability.
