Working from our corporate headquarters in Calgary located at 6030 3rd Street SE; the ideal candidate will perform routine shop tasks, warehouse inventory and organization, clean and prepare Measurement While Drilling kits and tools and deliver oilfield equipment to field locations across Western Canada when an urgent need arises.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory audit, prepare, and assemble Measurement While Drilling (MWD) kits and related equipment
- Gather and prepare items to restock missing, damaged, or consumable components for MWD kits.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in the shop area
- Track and organize components in the ERP system to mirror physical warehouse, and MWD kit stock levels.
- Organization of shipments; being the first and final point of contact with couriers
- Frequent forklift use loading and unloading shipments along with movement of MWD kits.
- Clean used oilfield equipment
- Perform general maintenance activities at Cathedral’s headquarters
- Rush (hot shot) deliveries of tools and equipment across Western Canada
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and acceptable driving abstract
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment and comply with pre-access and site specific health & safety requirements
- Fitness for Work Testing
- Be mechanically inclined and like to work with tools and equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work a scheduled on-call rotation for urgent field deliveries
- Live or temporarily reside in close proximity to Calgary, AB and be ready and available for deployment on short notice during on call schedule
- Must have the ability to be away from home for extended periods, during scheduled on-call rotation
ASSETS:
- Previous MWD experience or knowledge
- Previous warehouse work experience
- Operate and/or certified as a forklift operator
- H2S and First Aid certified
