Fujitsu Canada is seeking a full-time, permanent Business Analyst to support enterprise-scale Knowledge Management (KM) modernization projects. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, bilingual communication, structured content analysis, and agile delivery within hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives.
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
  • Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identifying and documenting items such as database content, structure, and application subsystems.
  • Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
  • Establish acceptance test criteria.
  • Support and use the selected departmental methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document KM Initiative objectives, roles, and deliverables.
  • Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and report progress throughout the KM lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience with SharePoint Online: configuring, customizing, and administering large document repositories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Ecosystem & Copilot Integration, including workflow automation and plugin management.
  • Experience authoring and managing content using DITA XML and structured documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with XML/XSLT transformations and metadata strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Knowledge Management, including taxonomy development and content lifecycle management.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French) for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments and readiness evaluations.
  • Familiarity with Canadian government KM systems and accessibility standards.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML/NLP tools for semantic search, content rewriting, and contradiction detection.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services and integration with KM platforms.
  • Exposure to document-as-code principles and automated publishing workflows.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for post-migration analytics.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or ITIL.
  • Experience with multilingual datasets and merging bilingual content into unified knowledge articles.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI platforms like Copilot Studio.

General Requirements

  • Must reside in the Gatineau area in Quebec.
  • Hybrid work arrangement — onsite at least three days per week, with additional days as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Eligibility for Reliability Security status; minimum five years’ residency in Canada.
  • Experience working in a multicultural or multilingual environment.
  • Familiarity with agile or other modern project management methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a remote or hybrid work setting.

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $87,494 to $112,493 CAD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
