About the role

We are currently seeking a Central Monitoring Attendant for our Toronto Pearson Airport location. The Central Monitoring Attendant is responsible for monitoring the communication, parking, and camera systems, assisting customers seeking help during the process of parking or upon entering and exiting the parking lot, and making payments.

Please note: This is a temporary position until February 22, 2025, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements.

What Would You Be Doing?

  • Greet, welcome, and assist customers with any questions or inquiries
  • Monitor the communication, parking, and camera system
  • Support customers with their use and navigation of the parking facilities and equipment
  • Review and complete camera and system checks at the beginning of every shift
  • Process customer transactions using a variety of payment methods in a quick and accurate manner
  • Inform and advise customers and clients on our products and services
  • Ensure that all defective ticket outputs are validated before allowing the customer to exit the premises
  • Keep the office tidy and organized throughout shift in order to deliver efficient customer service
  • Maintain tracking logs
  • Other duties as required

Working Conditions

  • Operation may run 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
  • Office environment, working independently
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

What Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum 2–3 years of customer service experience is required
  • Strong communication and written skills with an open attitude to take direction and feedback
  • Proven customer service-oriented attitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
  • Results-oriented individual with a concern for accuracy and customer relations
  • Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work comfortably using Word, Excel, and technology/computers in general
