Kiewit Carpenter Journeyperson Opportunity – Path2Zero Project
Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson Carpenter for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Position Requirements
Valid Journeyperson (JM) Carpenter Ticket or equivalent hours Valid Fall Protection, Confined Space and MEWP Tickets Minimum of five years’ experience in industrial construction Experience with Peri formwork is considered an asset A clean five-year driver’s abstract is required
Compensation And Shift Details
Base wage: $49.39 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement ITC Premium: $3.00 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week) Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week) Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week) Night shift premium: $3.00 per hour working nights Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours Overtime and weekend work may be required Ability to work night shifts is necessary

Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol, and 50lb Fitness to Work tests No travel and living-out expenses provided Due to the volume of applicants, only those meeting minimum qualifications will be contacted
Requirements
Able to meet all physical requirements. Must have all required tools Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft) Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
