Responsibilities
Ensure quality control, timely construction, and completion of homes
- Perform general labour duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, lifting and digging
- Perform basic carpentry and other tasks as required, to assist with the timely completion of homes
- Completion of quality control standards by completing checklists on a timely basis
- Providing support to the warranty team when required
- Maintain and enforce site cleanliness with trade partners
- Adhere to and enforce the company’s safety policies and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned
Requirements
- Experience in the residential home building industry (Considered an asset)
- Valid drivers license and willingness to use personal truck for work purposes (Allowance provided)
- Driven, focused and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of building codes and construction methods
- Comfortable using basic hand tool and power tools
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and operate efficiently
Certifications
- Certificate/degree/diploma in construction related field (asset, not required)
- WHMIS 2015 (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
- Emergency or standard first aid (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
- Fall Protection Certificate (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
