About the role
What is the opportunity?
As a Delivery Lead within the Cloud Integrations function, you are responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of technical platform integrations and the migration of Cloud applications. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic alignment with RBC’s objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of program management, cloud technologies and complex technical implementation.
What will you do?

Develop and maintain a programmatic approach to delivering complex, multi-phase technical platform integration and Cloud application migration to support broader M&A integration work.

Conduct portfolio analysis, and lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to analyze existing solution architecture, perform technical and functional gap analysis, and develop scalable migration strategies

Integrate and collaborate seamlessly with product management and engineering groups to establish a roadmap for platform delivery and application migration.

Perform security and compliance assessments, and work with stakeholders to apply interim remediation measures alongside integration and migration activities

Plan and execute with a high level of complexity and uncertainty, including managing project scope, requirements change, multiple and competing demands, and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics and assumptions.

Manage communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc.

Provide senior management with timely updates on overall status and flag issues/risks early.

Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and objectives.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation that meets regulatory and internal audit requirements.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree or college level equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Risk Management, Business Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, technology implementations or a related field, with a focus on IT.
- Excellent understanding of Cloud technologies and practices, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), Kubernetes, and GitOps
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate, PMP, Agile, Change Management, etc.)
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-workstream, enterprise-wide IT transformation projects and driving technical delivery.
- Advanced program management skills including program leadership, schedule management; change management, status management, risk, and issue management, financial and benefits management, stakeholder management.
- Expert facilitation skills, able to keep teams focused and engaged, resolve conflict, and solve problems as a team.
- Expert understanding and experience with project delivery frameworks including Agile, Iterative Waterfall, and Hybrid.
- Advanced time management skills, able to prioritize work for the greatest impact through effective decision making.
- Proficient in key delivery tools including Planview, MS Project, Jira, Leankit, Confluence.
- An understanding of cloud and experience working with cloud technologies.
- Bias for action, ownership, and an ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive work to completion under restrictive timelines.
- Executive presence and an ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
