Title: Coordinator- Relief Operations (Peguis)
Location: Manitoba, Canada
Type of contract: T emporary Full Time (6 months)

The Coordinator is essential in assisting with the planning and coordination of programs and service delivery operations. They collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure services are provided efficiently and compassionately, addressing community needs. They support service improvements, engage stakeholders, and help ensure smooth program execution within their designated area. This role involves working closely with volunteers, staff, and community partners to facilitate the delivery of programs that support individuals and communities in times of need.
In this role you will:
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, partners, and agencies to foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and engagement.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of assigned programs and services.
- Support the planning and execution of program/service delivery activities.
- Help ensure services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational standards, policies, and community needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs/services meet community needs and align with organizational goals.
- Assist in the deployment of resources (staff, volunteers, equipment, etc.) for program/service delivery.
- Support the development and implementation of training for staff and volunteers involved in program/service delivery.
- Assist in resource management, including tracking budgets, procurement needs, and reporting requirements.
- Help build and maintain a centralized library of operational standards, processes, guidelines, and tools.
- Ensure proper documentation, storage, and accessibility of program/service data for compliance and future reference.
- Track program outcomes and report on performance, challenges, and success stories to internal stakeholders and external partners.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience and a 1-2 year post-secondary certification/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of volunteer management, recognition and appreciation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint is required.
- Ability to manage program schedules and timelines; prioritize tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.
Working conditions
- Work is performed in an environment which is mostly clean and comfortable in an office or virtual setting.Some travel may be required for team meeting
