About the role
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications A Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Supply Chain is a critical business partner, focusing on optimizing financial performance across all supply chain operations, including our distribution center, procurement, and logistics. This role translates complex financial data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide detailed financial analysis, insights, and reporting on operational performance, cost allocation, and Inventory management to senior management.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Support the development of annual budgets, strategic plans, and financial forecasts, utilizing robust financial models and tracking KPIs.
- Cost and Cash Flow Management & Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiencies, optimize supply chain costs, support inventory control and monitor credit KPIs.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, sales) to support strategic initiatives and ensure financial compliance.
- Process Improvement: Champion process improvements and drive financial efficiency across the function through operational enhancements and data tool utilization.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support for investments, pricing, and new business proposals, often involving financial modeling.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 4-7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, ideally with supply chain or plant controllership exposure, and strong financial modeling experience.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TM1), and familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present complex financial insights clearly; strong business partnering and collaborative mindset; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
