We’re looking for aMaintenance Supervisorjoin our Lakeview division, located in**Williams Lake, British Columbia.**Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over 230 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
-A Journeyman ticket, diploma/technical degreein a mechanical, electrical, or related field considered an asset. -3-5 years of leadership experiencepreferably within a manufacturing environment
-
A good understanding ofcomputerized maintenance management systems(preferably JD Edwards).
-
Excellentwork-ethic, communication, organizational and time management skillsto lead by example, engage your team, plan the work and get things done. -Troubleshooting skills toensure smooth daily operations.
-
Acreative problem solverwho thinksbeyond the obviousandexecutes with a visonand with precision.

In this role you will:
-Lead a team of tradespeople and apprenticesto ensure our mill is operating efficiently, consistently and safely.
- Apply your working knowledge ofsafety program development, implementation, and****legislationto ensure your team follows due process and goes home safely to their family each day. -Support the planning, development and execution of an effective plant maintenance program. This includes ourequipment configurationdatabase,downtime analysis,repair and preventative work****orderdevelopment, allocation andscheduling of resources, ongoing follow-up and refinement of maintenance procedures.
- Be acollaborative leaderwho inspiresinnovation and continuous improvement.
