JOB SUMMARY
As a Junior Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Strategy & Value Creation. This position offers a unique exposure to managing existing companies and contributing to the IDC’s long-term strategy and investment thesis. We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled individual that is able to bridge strategy, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate is an Inuvialuit beneficiary, reflecting our commitment to empowering our community and upholding our core values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be/have:
- Currently a 3rd or 4th year student in business, finance, or a related program.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
- Robust analytical mindset and adept problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience building financial models in Excel and conducting financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
- Eagerness to learn and adaptability based on shifting priorities.
- Understanding of Inuvialuit history and culture and an interest in Northern economic development.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
- Prior experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles.
- Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools.

- This role can be based in either our Calgary office.
