What You’ll Get To Do:
- Provide leadership in development and implementation of plant safety initiatives
- Oversee the optimization of production equipment, including kiln, grinding mills, and related processes and inputs including raw materials and fuels
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts in cooperation with the Production Manager
- Coordinate refractory related activities, including selection, ordering, removal, installation, and maintenance of refractory history
- Supervise and oversee development of EIT and Co-op Engineering personnel as assigned
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
- Previous leadership experience is an asset
- Proven communication and relationship management skills
- Problem solving skills and multi-discipline thinking
- Excellent working knowledge with a variety of software
- Safety and maintenance exposure is an asset
Work Environment:
- Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
