We’re looking for a hands-on and results-driven Fulfilment Supervisor for 3 shifts (day, afternoon and night) to oversee day-to-day operations at our Distribution Centre supporting Northern Reflections, Ricki’s, and Cleo. In this role, you’ll lead a team responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods to our stores and customers, driving efficiency while maintaining a safe, organized, and positive work environment. This facility is a 24 hour / 7 days a week operation.

Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30p.m. (M – F)

Afternoon Shift : 3:45p.m. – 12:15a.m. (M – F)

Night Shift: 11:00p.m. – 7:30a.m. (S – Th)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise end to end process of the order fulfilment functions, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed and shipped in a timely manner, ensuring quality and accuracy while adhering to all safety standards.
  • Meet daily fulfilment order targets and productivity for the shift.
  • Effectively manage the order backlog to ensure SLA’s are met.
  • Supervise, direct, coach and train all team members (including temporary workforce).
  • Able to resolve problems, audit as needed and identify trends and communicate issues to relevant parties
  • Ensure accuracy of all orders picked and packed
  • Provide frequent and constructive feedback as required
  • Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to achieve the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed and updated where required.
  • Analyze workload and adjust staff accordingly to accomplish departmental goals.
  • Provide positive leadership and seek out opportunities to maintain and enhance morale.
  • Communicate standards, expectations, goals, changes and policies to all team members (including temporary workforce).
  • Work in conjunction with the Operations Managers to partner with agency leads to recruit based on forecasted volume.
  • Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to analyze shipping rates, and work with carriers to implement cost efficiencies.
  • Maintain KPIs to align with labor planning and volume forecasting.
  • Maintain and enhance overall team member relations and job satisfaction through effective communication, fair and consistent treatment, respect for the individual, and establishment of clear expectations and accountability.
  • Ensure team member safety through education and training, promoting safety awareness and accountability and by promptly addressing potential hazards.
  • Comply with Toys”R”Us Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA to ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education or relevant experience
  • 5 years Supervisory experience in a Fulfilment Centre / Distribution Centre
  • Previous experience within the clothing industry an asset
  • Solid communication skills, interpersonal skills, math and problem solving skills and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of X3 system
  • People Management – ability to assess skills and manage the work and productivity of others while coaching and developing talent
  • Conflict management skills – ability to view conflict as an opportunity to find common ground and gain cooperation from all parties.
  • Problem solving skills – reacts quickly and appropriately to problems; follows up in a timely manner to issues not immediately resolvable; ties up all loose ends.
  • Ability to motivate self and others to accomplish important objectives with facing multiple demands; creates a sense of urgency
  • Must have high initiative, integrity and dependability and demonstrate responsible, ethical and honest behavior in all tasks and responsibilities.
