Summary Under the guidance of the Front Office Manager, the Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service and positive interactions with the Red Deer Resort & Casino Club Lounge guests. At all times, Club Lounge Attendant is expected to be attentive to our guest’s needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. The Club Lounge Agent must have proven to problem-solve and quick-thinking skills in fast-paced situations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete daily duties including, but not limited to: emptying garbage, stocking coolers, inventory counts. Report, to the Front Office Manager/Supervisor, items needing repair and/or replacement. Greet guests entering the Club Lounge making them feel welcome and be available to approach at all. Ensure all Club Lounge criteria and policies are being adhered to. Verify guest’s room number/name to confirm eligibility for Club Track guests following set procedures. Set up and take down complimentary meal items; adhere to all health & safety. Become familiar with services offered within the hotel and the City of Red Deer; answer guests’ inquiries regarding these services. Stay in constant communication with the Front Office Manager/Supervisor to report guest concerns and/or items that need to be attended to regarding the Club Lounge. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor. The role/duties may change depending on the needs of the operations. Education, Qualification and Requirements One to two years of related hospitality experience. Experience in all aspects of customer. 1 to 2-year Degree or Diploma; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to analyze and interpret clients' needs and provide appropriate options, solutions, and recommendations. Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling. Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing. Ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and stakeholders. Knowledge of using Computer and MS Office Applications. ProServe certification, ProTect certification required. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. As a condition of employment, associates are to have a criminal record check prior to their first day of work. Work Environment This position requires frequent standing and walking. While performing the duties of this job, there may be stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, and crouching. May be required to work in a noisy or distracting environment during busy operational periods. Ability to tolerate exposure to heat and cold. Hours of Work This is a casual position that requires adaptability and flexibility, as work hours will vary based on operational requirements. Shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
