About the role
We are currently recruiting a $140,000 Production Director for our client, a well-established industrial manufacturing company located in Blainville (100% onsite position).
Requirements
Fluent English and working French Experience in management and in low-volume, technically complex production environments Availability for occasional travel to Plattsburgh (same-day round trips several times per year)
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations and lead production teams Plan production activities, coordinate resources, and manage priorities Promote a safe, high-performing, and efficient work environment Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, logistics, and supply chain teams Review and validate technical documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and ERP data Participate in testing, inspections, and validation activities Support the implementation and operation of a new testing cell Monitor project and production progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety requirements, and internal procedures
