Location : Virtual

Duration: Summer 2026 - 4 Months (May 2026 – August 2026)

About The Opportunity The Business Transformation & Strategy Intern will support Dayforce’s enterprise transformation agenda, helping accelerate how the company scales, simplifies, and operationalizes strategic priorities across functions. This role works within the Transformation Office to bring clarity, structure, and execution rigor to programs that strengthen Dayforce’s operating model and drive measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Support planning and execution of cross-functional transformation programs aligned with Dayforce’s priorities in product innovation, customer experience, operational efficiency, and go-to-market effectiveness.
  • Conduct research and analysis across processes, metrics, customer insights, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify improvement opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Develop clear, well-structured deliverables including slides, summaries, process maps, and progress reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating workshops, design sessions, and program meetings by preparing materials, organizing logistics, and helping highlight key themes and next steps from discussions.
  • Help track initiative progress by updating status reports, documenting risks and dependencies, and supporting the team in monitoring key KPIs and OKRs.
  • Support change management activities by assisting with readiness assessments, drafting communications, engaging with stakeholders, and capturing feedback.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools that could enhance program outcomes or simplify team workflows.

Skills And Experience We Value

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in Business/Commerce, Strategy & Operations, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in breaking down ambiguous problems and identifying insights.
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to translate complex topics into simple, structured summaries.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through on tasks and commitments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment typical of a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Curious and proactive learner, eager to ask questions, explore new ideas, and collaborate with partners across Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, GTM, HR, and Operations.
  • Professional and confident interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with team members and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

What Would Really Make You Stand Out

  • Familiarity with collaborative and project tools such as Confluence, Miro, Jira, or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Exposure to SaaS metrics, customer journeys, or the product development lifecycle is a plus.
  • Interest in transformation frameworks (i.e. lean and agile methodologies, operating model design, process improvement).
