Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: North York, Ontario (On-site) Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $20 to $40 per/hour (Based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a production team in North York, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong machining background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines simultaneously
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers and other precision measuring tools
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using callipers, indicators, and micrometers
• Sharpen, set, and adjust cutting tools as required
• Understand and make adjustments using G-codes
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in production machining is required
• Ability to operate multiple CNC machines at the same time
• Strong knowledge of tool setting and tool sharpening
• Excellent proficiency with precision measuring instruments:
• Confidently use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job instructions accurately.
• Understand manufacturing tolerances and quality requirements, with a strong attention to detail.
• Make machine and tool adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Possess working knowledge of G-codes, tool offsets, and CNC machining processes.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while consistently meeting production targets.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Be dependable, punctual, and maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
